 Microsoft 365 Training

Microsoft 365 has evolved over the years, has your training?

Microsoft 365 is the backbone of every workday,
every day, for every employee.

But your employees are only using 10 to 15% of the capabilities.
That means expensive rework and lost productivity.

What is Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 is a cloud-based collaboration platform with Microsoft applications and other productive services that users can subscribe to based on their needs. Users can access emails, contacts, calendars, and other office apps like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote over the internet.

With Microsoft 365 plans, users can install the latest versions of Microsoft applications on multiple devices like PCs, Tablets, Phones, and iPad. Microsoft 365 includes SharePoint Online that allows creating, sharing, and managing data, users, site pages, and other resources. It also provides customized enterprise search capability, making it easier to find content in electronic form across the organization.

Microsoft Office Evolved

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) was introduced in 2014 and changed the world of Microsoft Office. Now that everything is cloud-based, it receives regular feature and functionality updates as opposed to the old lifecycle of updates and new releases every 2 or 3 years. This means your office applications will always be up-to-date and feature the latest functionality across all office products.

What’s included with Microsoft 365?

Who needs Microsoft 365 training, anyway?

Every user is at a different level, and it’s tough for individuals to assess their skill level accurately. At their last job, what was thought to be an advanced user might find themselves behind in a tech-forward office. We offer customized, objective employee assessments to identify skill deficiencies. Once we know where a user needs help, we can quickly fill in the gaps and speed up them.

New ways of working with Microsoft applications

The old saying goes, “you don’t know what you don’t know.”

This rings true for office applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook. These applications have been around for years and years. Most people use these in some form or another and have developed certain habits over the years. Most of these habits haven’t changed in years, but the software itself improves and updates all the time. Your team needs to be aware of new ways of working with Microsoft applications like word and excel to save time and increase output.

Updates, Updates, and more updates

One of the most significant features of deploying Microsoft 365 is that you are always on the latest and greatest version of Microsoft 365. This is very different from when companies would have to purchase new versions every 2 or 3 years, depending on the release cycle.

While having the latest version of Microsoft 365 Applications is excellent, you might now always know what the new features are and how they can impact your organization. In 2019, there were over 30 updates to the Microsoft 365 suite. Some of these updates were minor security updates, while others were full blows version updates with new features that impact users. Unless your IT team is sending out notices for every update or the look and feel of an application changes dramatically, you might not know what has been updated.

Microsoft 365 Training That’s Kinda Fun

We offer customized and fun live training that employees love. Why do they love it? When we’re done, their job is easier, their days are more productive, and they are excited to apply their newfound skills. The difference is using an in-person trainer (Online or In-person) to lead the courses to make the content come to life and engage the team.

The Excel & Flourish Process

Since 2012, we have held firm to our belief that training should be fun to be effective. Capturing an employee’s attention is the first task when trying to train. Our playful and informative style separates Excel & Flourish from the sea of online webinars and cattle call competitors. Our day is made when an employee sits back from their screen with a satisfied smile, knowing they will save hours of work every week because of a new method or trick.

While we make sure our training is enjoyable, the content isn’t fluff. Our classes are laser-focused on the most relevant, up-to-date information available. We’re the training company employees want back, and we partner long-term with employers to improve productivity and grow their business.

No one size fits all

We know every company and organization is different. That’s why we provide customized training based on your organization and people.

We start by creating a needs analysis for your team. A needs analysis is essential because it identifies areas we need to focus on for your customized training. We determine who needs training, different department training, and goals. After that, we review the results with you and create a comprehensive training plan for your organization.

Then we execute the training plan. Our customized training classes focus on your organization and what your team needs to succeed. We prefer to provide onsite training when available so we can work closely with everyone at the organization.

We know times have changed, so we do offer virtual training as well. This closely mirrors in-person training by using Microsoft Teams or Zoom. We believe in providing more than just a slide deck to have a real person online with a webcam and so live questions and answers, just like an in-person event.

After the initial training is complete, we give you detailed reporting into the training. we will review:

  • Topics covered

  • Question and Answers

  • Attendee lists

  • Survey results

  • Additional feedback if available

  • Next steps and recommendations
