Finding The Right Microsoft Trainer
I do encourage that you consider using a Microsoft certified trainer. I've only been a Microsoft certified trainer for just this last year, however, I have been a subject matter expert for over 20 years, and I've been Microsoft Master-level certified for the last eight years.
In case you’re wondering, a Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) is a senior-level IT professional who designs and implements Microsoft solutions and wishes to demonstrate their skills and experience on Microsoft server technologies.
No matter who you're using for training, there's a couple of things you're looking for:
1. Application Expertise
Take a look at their credentials. Which programs do they have the most experience teaching? What do their previous trainees say about them? Which classes do they find the most successful in terms of group success rates? You’ll want to look for someone who knows how to train your group for growth.
2. Business Experience
You’ll want to look for someone who has had business experience so they understand if we're talking about a PNL, an ERP, or a CRM. You’ll want someone to understand where we're getting our information and automations from, and how it can all integrate.
This Is No “One Size Fits All”
With someone who has had the experience applying software training to groups like yours, AND someone who understands what’s necessary for your business, you’ll be able to get the right trainer for you who:
Understands the problems you’re really trying to solve, and
Somebody who’s focused on results.
Certification is important. Application is essential.
